Are you able to support NorthRoad Academy by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List? We use these items every day in the classroom, outdoor learning, indoor recess, during free play time, and more! Thank you for blessing our teachers and students! We are so grateful for your support. 

Is transportation provided?

Transportation is not provided for students to or from NorthRoad Academy. 

Is placement testing required for my child to start school? 

There is no specific testing that is required for your child to start or attend NorthRoad Academy.  If there are special needs or accommodations that your child may need, those may be discussed when the family meeting and interview occur in order to assure the child’s needs can be met. 

Is there a waiting list? 

If a specific grade level reaches capacity, your child can be placed on a waiting list.  When space becomes available, parents/guardians will be notified based on the date placed on the list.  

Do you offer any scholarships? 

At this time, there is minimal financial assistance available.  Please contact Head of School, Tony Haan for more information.

How old does my child have to be to start Kindergarten?

Your child needs to be 5 years old by August 1st in order to enroll in Kindergarten, 4 years old for Jr. Kindergarten, and 3 years old for Preschool.  All Preschool and Jr. Kindergarten students must be 100% toilet trained prior to enrollment.

Are uniforms required? 

While uniforms are not required, there is a dress code students are expected to adhere to. 

Are snacks and meals provided by the school? 

Students are required to bring lunch to school each day, and may also bring a snack to have during their class’ scheduled snack time each day. Students who attend before care may bring their own breakfast. For after care, the school provides a snack.
